Today, I was very lucky, as I got to go on a lovely spring walk with my new friends from Ward Green Primary School. The children are from 2 foundation stage classes and they were excellent on the trip! The objective of the trip was to learn and discover the different signs of when spring occurs within a year. As you can see from the pictures below, me and my friends were able to explore the school field and look at the different plants, trees and new vegetable crops that were being planted. Mr Wilson (the school caretaker in picture 1) talked to us about all the new vegetable crops he had planted and the importance of sunlight and water to help them grow. It was fascinating to hear and see! Do you think you can spot where I am in picture 3??
